I believe that the power to closed that relay coms from the ECM, just like the power for the Lift Pump. There are several with the same part number and are interchangeable. If your lawnmower battery is functional, but the solenoid is dead, follow these steps to bypass it: Turn off the mower and remove the key. Locate the positive terminal on your battery.
