Mar 22, 2007 · Forum Rules. I successfully sprayed some KAC rail panels with Brownell's Alumahyde II OD Green and they matched my TD and Vltor OD Green furniture rather well. I now am installing FDE furniture on another AR build, and I would like to spray some more KAC panels with a matching FDE color. On the Brownell's website, their "Coyote" looks close to FDE. Cerakote is the ceramic based paint they use. Flat Dark Earth is the color. While the color can be the same name the shade can easily be different from manufacturer and even each batch of paint. Granted it might only be slightly different.
